   Does it matter who edits your manuscript?  Of course it does!  Your project will receive my personal attention.  I won't claim to be your editor, and then farm your work out to someone else.  I will personally work with you in a friendly and professional manner, always mindful that YOU have the final say.

   Sharing your work with a stranger can be difficult.  But keep in mind that all writers -- even those who've been published for years --- benefit from editing.  Even if you've extensively edited your own work, you still need an objective outsider's viewpoint.  I am not judgmental and will work hard to strengthen your manuscript.

   Is my project moving in the right direction?  Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, reaching your target audience is a primary goal.  A critique of your manuscript provides the feedback you need to set your sights on the best market, polish your work, and increase your confidence.

   What about basic writing skills?  During a critique, I will read your manuscript and provide feedback on the overall quality of the project, plus the nuts and bolts of your writing.  This includes grammar, readability, structure, plot, and dialogue.  I'll complete an evaluation to point you in the right direction and help improve your natural writing skills.

   Submitting your work is a challenge in today's competitive market.  Agents will appraise your manuscript with a critical eye, and they won't accept a project that isn't ready.  I'll help you polish and format your manuscript, write a query letter, and target the best markets.
